The Shangyu Cao’ejiang Culture & Art Center is envisioned as a dynamic hub celebrating art, culture, and the natural beauty of the Cao’e River. Inspired by the river’s enduring legacy, the design harmonizes bold architectural forms with the surrounding landscape. The program draws its inspiration from the concept of the “stone of the orifice,” where the external reality appears void, yet sound resonates within—emerging from the earth like a rock shaped and eroded over millennia.
