National Archaeological Museum of Athens

The museum’s garden is inspired by this drapery to create a series of canopies—strong and attractive contemporary architectural elements—to shelter the visitors of this new agora and protect the fragile works of the collection. The spaces housing the marble sculptures have a raw material feel, with semi-reflective travertine on the floor and raw limestone as the wall covering.
